The Black Bear Film Festival is always an amazing event in our awesome little town of Milford, PA, in the Upper Delaware. The upcoming dates are October 20-22 2017

Thanks to Terry and Doug for hosting this at their home in Dingman’s Ferry, where you can also find some unique folk art and gifts in their Phoenix store on the property. Doug & Company made an fabulous spread and we had a blast!  I’m including a handful of snaps from the recent dinner with some of the usual suspects.  http://www.blackbearfilm.com/             http://dimaggio-kalish.com

Our trip to Cuba was an incredible experience. Traveling to Cuba gets better every time we go.  Great photography, fascinating people, a true education.  Did I mention our group was fabulous as well?

This time around, we visited  Havana, Cienfuegos and Trinidad.  We saw the city and the countryside. We met with artists and visited the University of Arts. We saw a ballet & learned how children with disabilities were taught dance and how it enriched their lives. We got to hear some wonderful opera, captured a beautiful rainbow, met with dancers and musicians while exchanging ideas and philosophies. We spent time with people who were leaders of community projects which helped seniors and build a better community, as well projects to help educate more people so they would live better lives.  It was a non-stop Learning Experience about Cuba the Country and it’s People.

Our next People to People to Cuba will be April 13 – 20, 2015        Other Upcoming Workshops 2015    (international workshops will be Israel, Iceland and Africa in 2015 as well as others)
